Our relationship with affiliate links.

Last updated: July 16, 2026

The short version

Buyer Pick Guide may earn a commission when you click certain links and complete a qualifying purchase. This should not increase the price you pay. We identify these relationships close to the relevant link or recommendation.

Affiliate disclosure: We may earn a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you. This does not change how we evaluate the product.

What an affiliate relationship is

An affiliate relationship allows a publisher to receive compensation for referring a customer to a merchant. Tracking may occur through a coded link, cookie, referral identifier, or another attribution method.

How we disclose it

A link-specific notice should appear before or beside an affiliate call to action. A general footer notice or this page alone is not a substitute for a clear disclosure where the recommendation is made.

Eligible outbound links in this template use the attributes nofollow sponsored noopener and open in a separate browser tab.

Editorial approach

Affiliate availability does not guarantee favorable coverage. Our review template includes price, recurring charges, refund terms, limitations, and alternatives. We may recommend that a reader skip a product when it is not a strong fit.

Prices and merchant terms

Prices, availability, bonuses, shipping, subscriptions, refund terms, and merchant policies can change without notice. Confirm the complete offer on the merchant’s site before purchasing.

Your choice

You are never required to use an affiliate link. You can navigate directly to a merchant, compare other sellers, delay a purchase, or choose not to buy.
